I have been working tirelessly, day and night, to ensure that the benefits of the various academic branches and courses run by our institution reach the most deserving, poor, and needy students. Today, I am proud to share that we are successfully operating various educational wings, ranging from primary to higher education, across the entire district. My entire Executive Board and I remain steadfast in our dedication to providing quality education to students from rural backgrounds.
Our Journey and Vision
When we first ventured into the field of education, we conducted a thorough analysis of the geographical, social, and economic landscape of Sillod Taluka. We realized that a lack of educational infrastructure was a significant barrier, depriving talented students of opportunities. To bridge this gap, we took it upon ourselves to establish a robust system for higher education in this region.
Commitment to Excellence
To ensure that hardworking students from rural areas excel not only at the district level but also at the state and national levels, the Adarsh Education Society has worked with unwavering commitment. Recognizing the urgent need for accessible higher education, we successfully established Sahyadri Arts, Commerce and Science College, Sawargaon.
Previously, the remote area of Sawargaon lacked a proper system for higher learning. Students often had to abandon their dreams due to poverty and difficult circumstances. By establishing this senior college, we have aimed to uplift the community and provide a platform where financial constraints do not hinder intellectual growth.
A Mission of Social Welfare
Through my journey in social service and public life, I have always strived to implement welfare schemes that prioritize student development. Education is the cornerstone of this vision. Our institution is actively implementing several student-friendly initiatives to ensure that the light of knowledge reaches every section of society, down to the very last stratum.
A Collective Dream
It was our dream to see students from the grassroots receive high-quality education. The fulfillment of this dream would not have been possible without the invaluable and continuous support of our Principal, Professors, and non-teaching staff. Their dedication ensures that Sahyadri College continues to move forward as a beacon of hope.
